Book Art II

Very nice work along with beautiful music.

This man Isaac took discarded library books and made the art work that you will view in this video.

Guys like him make it more difficult for me to name my post. Tough decision between "Book Art" or "Recycled Art".

Pencil Art II

Dalton Ghetti, eco art, green design, pencil sculpture, green art, mini sculptures,
This guy Dalton Getty by name, is amazingly talented ! He decided to try carving sculptures out of pencils These are the results it truly is something to see.
Getty only uses three tools to create his art– a razor blade, sewing needle and sculpting knife. He even refuses to use a magnifying glass.
I wonder if it's alright health-wise for him to have his hands in that lead like that all the time.
The detail on this saw is done extremely well those ridges look grrrrreat.
Beleive it or not this was dine with only ONE pencil.
As was this one.
And this one it's too bad that he doesn't sel his art, but maybe there could be some way to obtain high quality photos.  I want some of these.
This one is very cute. Slightly emo-looking but still you can't help but love it.
Haha, itty-bitty hammer.
Well, uh, what can I say this is just as cute as a button. ;)
Yep, that'd be pure pencil lead.
I love how the flap is open on this boot.

"The Old Rugged Cross"
Old fashioned mail box
Very detailed screw here.
The alphabet!  Now this would be awesome to have in an elementary-school teacher's house.

Watch Art

The detailing that goes into each motorcycle is nothing less than incredible.
Haha I know some girls who would LOVE a pink motorcycle.
Most pieces of the recycled watch art can fit into the palm of your hand.
Something about motorcycles just screams awesome.
Vintage Motorcycle made entirely from recycled watch parts.
Now this thick little guy is super cute. (:
Vintage Class Miniature Motorcycles.
I love how intricate the this little guy is.
Customer Choppers, but made in miniature from recycled watch parts.
Is it odd to say that this one is awesome simply because it's red? 'Cuz it is!
Motorcycle seat fashioned from a watch strap.
Yes ma'am we have genuine pink alligator skin imported ALL the way from the uh ... err.... local farm nearby. But it IS alligator!
Tri-customer chopper made entirely from your old watches.
Heavy-Duty ;) I'd call it Tank.
Scooters are a favorite and Dan produces a miniature version completely from recycled watch parts.
Nerdy looking it's so small ^.^
Wonderful customer chopper from old watch parts.
Now this one looks like an older man's tough ride. I say this because it looks tough but the colors remind me of  older things.
Custom Chopper Bike in miniature.
That blue wheel IS something, huh?
Chopper Motorcycle, lovingly recreated from old watches.
Mostly metal looks like you could drive through some serious terrain with this.
Watch faced used as the speedometer on this work of art.
Special addition!!! A clock on a motorcycle made from a watch!
Trials Bike from recycled watch parts.
And since this one is yellow it makes me think of a taxi and taxis make me think of New York so this is now a New York motorcycle.

Food Art III

This is a little different from the last two "Food Art" post (see how creative I am with my titles? Awesome, right?!) The following items were constructed form ACTUAL food. Imagine that! The other two were made from clay which, might I add, was extremely impressive. But here is a something a little different and very cute.

Seed Soccer Ball! Kick this around in your garden for a about 10 minutes and things will just grow all by themselves.
Citrus Cycler
Flaming fast chili pepper motor cycle. Zoom zoom
Click Click! That's a camera . . .  my mom had to tell me that.

Garden Beds I

A while back my mom had Breah (My 15 year-old sister) and I Help her make some garden beds. It was a bit frustrating but still fun because working with Mom tends to be fun. ;)

Hi Mom! <3

Skill Saw. A deadly weapon. Respect the skill saw!

We stacked those pallets and made them into our worktables

Tools! Don't you just love working with compromised tools?

We ripped the wood off the pallets.

It was really hard to yank these nails outta there.

And I stepped on a nail thankfully it didn't break the skin but it did go straight through my sandal and poke me!

The odd cut in these boards was agitating but we just cut them up small and used them for wherever small wood was needed/

The man at the hardware store said that these went in VERY easily a few hard blows and she's in there for good......

We never used because they were SO hard to get into the wood!

So we had to settle with  things the more old-fashioned way. NAILS

As you can see we messed them up quite a bit..

Part of the reason that they didn't come out so well was that the wood was oak and rather difficult to get through with a hammer.

A few of them had to be removed for "safety reasons

It was a little rough. More frustrating than difficultt but we learned a lot Such as :

 1. Never step on a  board that has open nails that might be rusty stiicking out on the top
2. Girls CAN do boy's work yes and we WILL do it IF we HAVE to, but if we don't
HAVE to, boys by all means do build us a garden box!
3. How to build a garden box out of pallets.
4.  Garden boxes are better than just gardens
That's really all that I can think of at the moment but there are more I am sure

Oh and thank you King's Choice for the free pallets. (;

Semi-finished product.

Today this garden bed is done but I decided to wait to post it 'till later.
